Connecting Your Stream Provider
SteepleOS doesn't host video directly; it embeds your existing stream (YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Vimeo, or generic HLS) into a unified viewing experience.
- Go to Admin > Live Streaming.
- Click Configure Stream and select your provider.
- Paste the embed URL, video ID, or HLS manifest link.
The Live Viewer Experience
When you go live, the stream appears in the member portal at /live. The page includes:
- The video player.
- A live chat window for remote congregation members to interact.
- An interactive digital bulletin (Bible passages, sermon notes, and giving links).
Managing the Broadcast
During the service, assign a volunteer to the Live Control Room (admin/live). From here, they can:
- Moderate the live chat (delete messages, ban users).
- Push "Moments" to the screen (e.g., "Give Now" button, "Connect Card" link) that appear overlaying the video for viewers.
- Update the live viewer count.
