Visitors, Connect Cards & Guest Journey

Capture first-time guests and automate the follow-up that turns them into members.

Capture a guest

  • In person: go to Visitors > New and enter their details, or hand them a tablet on your public Connect Card (set it up at Admin > Connect Card; it has a public link you can put on a QR code or kiosk).
  • Online: share your church's public connect-card link so guests can fill it out from their phone.

Work the guest journey

  1. Go to Guest Journey to see every recent guest and where they are in your follow-up flow.
  2. Open a visitor (Visitors > [name]) to log follow-ups — a call, an email, a personal visit, or a gift drop.
  3. Each follow-up is recorded so anyone on your team can see what's already been done.

Automate it

  • Pair this with a workflow (see "Automating Ministry with Workflows") so a new guest automatically triggers a welcome email and a follow-up task for your connections team.

Tip: consistent first-week follow-up is the single biggest driver of guest retention — the Guest Journey board makes sure no one slips through.
